To navigate on Lake Maggiore (Verbano) and Lake Lugano (Ceresio), international lakes, with vessels ranging from 2.5 to 10 meters in length, it is necessary to have a Navigation permit and a Registration booklet. The Basin Authority for the lakes of Maggiore, Comabbio, Monate, and Varese issues the “V” permits, valid for navigation on both lakes.

Mooring berth concessions are granted for individual mooring spots in regional public ports.
